I think balance is the important thing
a bit of work and also physical activity, fresh air and them some relaxation, doing stuff you enjoy like film, TV and gaming whatever. Getting enough sleep and maintaining a good routine are also things that I think are important to good mental health.
I think staying in and partaking in nothing but internet bullshit must magnify issues that are trivial and make a person self absorbed, fretful and depressed.
In other words, I agree!

I look forward to the time when I can truly relax…then I realize what that entails…so it's off to busy myself again!

I had to look up sussed…I like that one!
But yes…I do like to keep active. I miss creativity a lot but the time just isn't right so I have embraced physical pass times to my wife's pleasure lol.
All in all things aren't too bad right now and I'm more ore less content

I feel like I'm talking a lot about myself

There was a singer called Steve Harley (his band were Cockney Rebel) who passed away earlier this year. He had it "sussed" he made enough money and enough fame from his one really big hit to stay relevant and have a loyal fan base, he stayed in love with music, toured a lot and was still excellent. He also did some radio presenting, drank Guiness and went to the horse racing when he wanted, loved his family and had a great life!

Are you kidding? On this board you're not even in the top 30 of people who talk about themselves!

Okay good

Yeah I dig that guy! Never heard of him…but that's the way!
I see celebs that pretend to hate stardom and I'm like…quit! You got **** you money…leave. nothing pleases my wife and I more than to say…hey wonder what happened to what's his name? Only to find they quit and pursued something that brought them joy.
I don't think I would like being famous

And what causes their anxiety and depression if they don't have a job? Studies show the main reason people have depression and anxiety this day and age is because of their job. I don't know why you are challenging it, but you are always so argumentative.

No I'm not

I didn't dispute that some people have anxiety and depression because of work.
I just said that people who don't work still have anxiety and depression.
Look around this board.

In theory, humans have worked the entirety of their existence.
Can’t speak on depression, but I think anxiety is just misplaced fear after we stopped getting attacked by lions and ended up getting attacked by Lisa from HR
