I actually just figured it was only for the video and that was it.

Very fun song and I think the pants became Zuma's which were quite popular in the early 90s…I believe with the WWF fans.
Fun fact…mc Hammer was often regarded as corny or nerdy by the hip hop community. This was untru as he was strongly affiliated with the crips of Oakland California. Many a hip hop artist found out the hard way that when it came to hammer…u can't touch that!
