Science disagrees with what?
For the record, I don't believe guys should be allowed to play women's sports, but mixed couples play casual beach volleyball together all of the time. When have you ever heard of a female player being paralyzed by a ball to the face? Never.

Obviously, but those are still men and women playing against each other, and then being drunk doesn't make the situation any better if you think about it. That makes it even more likely that an injury could occur due to recklessness.

A volleyball player left partially paralyzed by a transgender opponent
has slammed the Olympics over its boxing controversy.
Payton McNabb was 17 when a ball spiked by a trans opponent with force struck her in the face, threw her to the ground and shut off her consciousness.
The 5ft 11in trans player cackled in delight, Ms McNabb said, after sending her to the floor. As did other players in the opposite team.
Ms McNabb was left with brain damage and paralysis on her right side, which ended her dreams of getting a volleyball college scholarship and has made it difficult to walk without falling.
She told DailyMail.com it was 'disgusting' that two boxers who failed gender tests had been cleared to fight women at this year's Games in Paris.
She fears women could suffer injuries worse than hers.
Ms McNabb, who is now 19, knows all too well the dangerous physical imbalance advantage that biological males possess.
The North Carolina native was
struck in the face by a ball traveling at 70mph
while in a match in September 2022.
The ball had been hit by the tall, thin transgender player, who towered over female teammates both on their side and in the opposition.
Ms McNabb was knocked unconscious for 30 seconds on the floor with her arms locked upright in a 'fencing' position.
Doctors diagnosed her with a traumatic brain injury, concussion, partial paralysis on her right side, whiplash and vision problems — which she is still dealing with today, almost two years later.
Now a communications student at Western Carolina University,
Ms McNabb says she continues to struggle to move the right side of her body — leading her to regularly lose her balance and suffer from falls.
Do trans athletes need their own league?
Yes - Trans athletes can compete but need their own league
No - Trans athletes can compete in the gender category they identify as
Her mental acuity is also damaged, with Ms McNabb requiring hours of extra tutoring every month and extra time during tests because of the damage.
And
she has struggled with much worse vision, anxiety and depression as she fights to recover from her injuries.
Experts say there is a risk of injuries like concussion from playing volleyball, regardless of the gender of the players.
But women struck by balls hit by trans players report they are traveling faster and with more force than anything they have previously experienced.
Studies have also shown that transgender players in women's sports retain a biological advantage over their female opponents — even years after their transition began.
A major review carried out last year found that
early exposure to testosterone in trans women mean they possess at least eight physical and mental attributes that could give them an advantage in sports.
Trans women were also shown to have greater muscle mass and bone density, as well as bigger lungs, higher oxygen levels in the blood and increased connections in the area of the brain responsible for spatial awareness.
The athlete who caused Ms McNabb's injuries — which Ms McNabb has chosen not to name — is still yet to apologize for them, and has only messaged her once since to explain why they took the shot.
The player also previously wrote on a TikTok video: 'i literally hit her because she pulled (off) the net when she was supposed to be blocking and she gave me an easy shot down the line.
'And i OBVIOUSLY didn’t mean to hit her in the face. like, i’m not actually evil in the way that you think i am, believe it or not.'
She has no reason to lie about not being able to compete in this sport, or any sport, when she's still suffering from the inability to do ADLs

Do you have a more reputable source other than the sensationalist gossip rag The Daily News? I want to read about her case in more detail.
Yes, I've heard about the female boxer, and that guy had no business being in the ring with that woman. The officials in power who allowed that to happen should be held accountable.

I just heard about it via YouTube videos that are covering it, as the story is resurfacing because of the biological men being allowed to box with women at the Olympics. That's why I posted one of the videos first and then I found two articles about this case. This happened in 2022 but she is still suffering from the deleterious effects of being hit with a spiked volleyball by this man. As was mentioned, this was a competition and not just a friendly game of volleyball.
I'm sure if you google it, you'll find some other sources. There are at least 3 of them out there. I have no reason to disbelief this woman. Did you read the whole article in the link? They might even provide additional info at the bottom.
However, it's 3:05AM and I really need to get to sleep!

Yes, I read the article but there were no additional links. I'll do Google search to see if I can find anything.
What are you doing up so late, Missy?

I still haven't found any major news articles on this incident, but I did find this:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Destiny/comments/1eiqevg/payton_mcnabb_volleyball_player_who_claims_her/
Payton McNabb, volleyball player who claims her career was cut short by trans athlete
Politics
So destiny watched Tim pool and one of the guests brought up a girl who was "left paralyzed" by a trans athlete in a volleyball match
I did some digging and tried to find the initial footage from the volleyball game because there is, conveniently, a 7 second clip going around of the spike to her head.
What I found was the girls Hudl account,
https://www.hudl.com/profile/18432580/Payton-McNabb
Hudl is a video platform for high school athletes and u can upload ur sporting highlights
The claim is that Payton's sporting career ended after the hit which happened in October of 2022 but according to her Hudl highlights which have dates on them she continued to play basketball into February 2023
This article says "During her senior year in 2022, McNabb was severely injured in a Hiwassee High School volleyball game in which she was playing against Highlands High School. A transgender athlete on the opposing team spiked a ball into her head, knocking her unconscious and ending her athletic career, which consisted of volleyball, basketball, and softball. She suffered from a concussion, permanent whiplash, and a brain bleed.
McNabb is also still dealing with vision impairment, cognitive issues, partial paralysis on her right side, and more, leaving doctors to question if she will ever be the same again."
Now what's even more suspicious is that there has never been any medical records shown to say she sustained these injuries and her twitter account was created in June of 2023, which would be right after she graduated high school
https://x.com/paytonmcnabb_?t=rgL-MbH3x84yPsOXL9-GEg&s=09
Somebody please tell me I'm crazy or something but it seems like this girl is just lying about her paralysis/situation and is being used to push an anti-trans agenda
It appears there would be a physician corroborating her story and pictures of her injuries or something that the public can view that would back up her claims. All we have is that one video and the words of this girl and her father who is the principal of that high school.
I'm not sure how it was at your high school, but we played coed sports at mine and nothing like this has ever happened. I'm not saying that it couldn't, but there is something off about this.

why hasn't the school or anyone come out and said she's lying? If she lying about what happened, the other school could do it anonymously. the other athlete being called trans could do it too.
lots and lots and lots of people could say she's lying and then she'd be forced to show her medical records or something.
i get a lot of you are desperate to simp for trans athletes because its your virtue but please at least try not to be so retarded all the time

In none of my posts have I "simped" for trans-athletes. I have stated emphatically that I do not support transwomen taking part in all female sports.
Nor did I say that Payton was lying about being injured. I clearly stated that she may have exaggerated the extent of her injuries.
Take your own advice and stop ignorantly misinterpreting what's been said. Carelessly throwing around the word retard doesn't make you look any less of one when you do that.
