He is 39 years old and as the VP selection for what would be the oldest president ever in American history there is a good chance he could ascend to presidency within the next few years, making him the youngest president ever. He was recently elected to the U.S. Senate but had no political experience before that. He is mainly known for writing a book about his early life, which few actually read. This doesn't seem like the first person you would pick to run the most powerful nation on Earth.

Do you not know anything about Kamala Harris? She's been a district attorney, the attorney general of California, a US Senator, and vice president. She's much more qualified than JD Vance.
