Yeah, itβs a shame this didnβt happen in a death penalty state. The 1 thing Iβll agree with Republicans on.
But being charged (and hopefully convicted of) first degree murder is the next best thing.

This was an unbelievable abuse of force, and he was power hungry. There was nothing for him to be "in fear" of. She was taking a pot of boiling water off the stove. All she said was, "I rebuke youβ¦." (in the name of Jesus) maybe? Either way, she didn't make any sudden moves, he didn't give her any warning, he just issued a threat and shot her.
This is absolutely uncalled for. There was no reason for him to feel in fear. The bodycams showed clearly that she was not a threat, and she didn't even move towards them in any threatening way. This was not provoked. He wasn't endangered.
If for some godforesaken reason he felt afraid she would throw a pot of boiling water on him or towards his direction, how far does he really think she could throw it? Plus, he could have tased her. There is absolutely no justification for this, and he needs to be held accountable. I don't think he's going to get out of this one.
