How can I get it to fill the full screen?

Go to where you open a new tab. Look towards the bottom of the choices.

Go to your settings and click on Accessibility. There you'll find all kinds of ways to change what you want. You'll need vision enhancements I think. Scroll down to 'size and zoom' to find what you need.
If you don't have Accessibility try Display and you'll probably find what you want there.
