Police were stationed inside the building that Crooks climbed on top of. It was a staging area. We're hearing the officer "climbed up the building" and "lost his grip" of the building. The officer SAW Crooks and ran away. "Roof access had been properly locked down," they claim. (Oh, really?) The shooter got a LADDER and used that to scale the building. (I knew I heard about a ladder).

I agree with you, and you can bet this photo will be used against Cheatle and her list of inane excuses. She needs to be fired. We're beyond voluntarily stepping down. Her stubbornness cost an innocent man his life and two people are in critical condition.
Mind you, I think this extends way beyond just Cheatle, but the buck stops with her, and the first thing they can do to move in the right direction is to remove her.

She indirectly cost someone their life. Many ex-Secret Service and military have said in recent days that it is unheard of that a rooftop less than 200 meters away from the speaker platform was not covered. That's her job, and she doesn't get to toss that responsibility off on local law enforcement. Her job to make sure it was covered.

Just because she's the head of the Secret Service doesn't mean she's in charge of organizing the security at the event. There's no reason for her to resign, dude.

Unless she personally oversaw the whole operation from planning to execution, then there's no good reason to put the failing of the security personnel on her. The head of any security, policing, or military department is never the person who is directly responsible for that ****.
