There are two recorded fires at the library of Alexandria.
One under Julius Caesar which is documented as being partial and the other (Which was recorded as being a total destruction - incorrectly) was under…who is your favourite Roman emperor who was there when Rome fell again?

Yes, Istanbul isn't named after your favourite emperor who converted to Christianity and became the fall of the Roman empire due to the Visigoths flooding the social hierarchy at the time and the Vatican didn't try to cover up its destruction of the library of Alexandria not knowing that it wasn't simply one building which was kept alive by Islamic scholars until after the crusades.

If Israel was not trying so hard to limit casualties then why is the death count so low? Only 36000 and only 24000 of those are civilians? Israel could wipe out twice that many in a day if they wanted to. It has been 8 months. They should all be dead by now if Israel wanted to kill civilians.
