If there's no major shift in the polls after that debate, which so far seems to be the case, then Republicans would be smart to consider dumping him. If he can't shift votes after such a disaster for Democrats then it shows Republicans have no hope of ever getting undecided voters to vote for Trump, which means he's going to lose.
