Not my type. 😅. But I don't require good looks from musicians. It only matters whether their material hits home with me or not.

Yes 😅 in Belfast. Took a bottle home to see if it had the same effect back home.

All the bottles have a number on them which tells you the vintage. It's been many years since I tried it (Henry Weston's are my go to for properly getting MWI).
It sort of tastes like benylin, and it's rammed with so much sugar and caffeine it's pretty much like speed.

Oh ****, I didn't know that. Wasn't expecting that sort of limited edition fanciness from a dingy off licence that felt like buying booze from a prison. 🤣
Yes, it's sweet and a bit medicinal tasting but it has hilarious effects.

Is Sweden like Norway where you have to mission to specialist wine shops to get proper drink?
When I go to Norway I have to find these oddball places if I want spirits or wine. They don't open on Sundays and they close at 6 every other day.
They're kind of epic though. Really fancy and every drink you could ever imagine. It reminds me of being 5 years old and going to Hamleys in London looking at the terminator action figures lmao

Yep. It closes at 6pm on weekdays, 7pm on Fridays, 3pm on Saturdays and closed on Sundays and public holidays. You have to plan your home & party drinking. 😅 Otherwise there's pubs. I food shops you van only buy beer and cider up to 3.8% alcohol.

Yeah I just buy tonnes of tins of Heineken, lower strength than here.
I usually get a bottle of jd too but it's like 40 quid which is just daft. I got a 70cl of JD on Friday here for 19 quid.
And aye there's always pubs, though at like 11 quid a beer it becomes a pricey weekend.

Holy **** that is expensive. I was drinking cider and cocktails in Wales and it wasn't expensive. But I heard things are a bit cheaper there.
Dublin wasn't too expensive, even though it has gotten a bit pricier over the years. Still not not too bad in pubs.
Centre of town will always be more expensive than suburb pubs. But then the locals in suburb pubs ..😅😅😅😅

Dublin is bloody expensive to live tho. An Irish bird I used to see in London said she was actually cheaper staying there. And London for me was probably 2-3 times the cost of living in Scotland.

Yeah, I stay with friends who have a nice little house in the centre. So I spared accomodation prices. It's just going out prices that I've noticed have gone up. I stay away from Temple Bar but I would imagine the prices there have soared. Next time I go, I'll visit friends down in Dingle. See how that part of the country's faring.

I've never been to either country, but I will some day. The North is where my dad's side hail.
I'm rewatching House of the Dragon just now. I just got on the Henry Weston's but this works well cos I've already seen it twice and know the story backwards.
Have you read the book? I remember you saying you were going to get it for a Christmas.

I ended up just using it to rack lines off of.

Pity though. Some of those machinations would have been fun to read.

That's something different for CCR! I like it, but I like Roy's old version better. I also prefer Elvis when he was recording for SUN records. I guess they were all young and the music was raw and unsophisticated before they all got famous.

Well, Roy had a voice that was a cut above most pop/rock vocalists, and it was always smooth and easy.
