I will give you credit for seeing where I am going. Killing 80% of hamas is not good enough for the same reason. Good news is that the end is in sight. Only about 20% [4 battalions] left to go. The price was steep due to hamas despicable tactic of using human shields but just like wiping out the nazi's the cost is worth it. About 19K civilians have died and if the casualties continue at this rate the final death toll will be around 24k.
That is actually pretty good considering hamas tactics. If Israel WANTED to kill civilians like the anti-Israel crowd likes to pretend then the numbers would be far higher. It has been 6 months after all. If Israel REALLY wanted to wipe out the gazans they could have done it in 3 months or less.
