When on cardio machines like bike or crosstrainer, I don't want to hear the machine making noises in the belt and fan for 10 mins or more so i stick in music that encourages you to push harder!

What do you do pre-workout?
I find it doesn't matter too much when I lift as I take 2 mins rest between sets. But long, fast cardio without tonnes of carbs is just pain.
The Rangers manager, Philippe Clement, says that he's surrounded by football 24/7 and the only time he can escape is when he hits the gym and feels pain.
I've read people on Reddit saying they see him at a well known gym in Glasgow and everyone has been told to stay away from him
But aye back on topic, I aim to eat 180g protein a day and go carb heavy on running days

My lifting sessions are 2 hours long. First part is heavy big lifts like bench squats or deadlift and I take 3-5 min rests between sets for them. Next part is assistance lifts with higher reps less weight and I rest 60-90 seconds.
1H Pre workout I eat whey protein with 5g crewtine + some carbs, either real food or maltodextrin. Small amount of fat.
Intraworkout I sip coconut water and bring whey protein shake with 30-45g maltodextrin. Also I bring some strong coffee to drink.
Sometimes I’ll take some L-tyrosine for the workout because it improves dopamine and thus enhances your muscle control. Before very heavy deads illl eat a caffeine pill or hit a nicotine vape which if you use it infrequently hits way way harder than coffee.
