It has NOT been banned….yet. The US House passed a bill to force ByteDance to divest Tik Tok, or face a ban. It sill has to go to the Senate, where it faces a more uncertain fate.

It's so vague it opens the door for the executive to just go after any site they don't like. The Patriot Act was created to target foreign enemies and we all know what that led to. This has to die in the Senate. If Eyepatch McCain is all over Twitter defending a piece of bipartisan legislation for days and days, it's most likely garbage legislation.
