Lol, oh that's right. "The flu didn't spread because most people were staying home and wearing masks." Also, during that same those same people were saying "We can't get back to normal and end this virus because people aren't staying home and wearing masks."
The more obvious and logical explanation is they conflated the flu with Covid. But, nobody wants to admit they were duped this badly, so they'll keep spitting that stupid Covid narrative that the government tells them to.

You say that now, but just like this last time you'll demand everyone else be locked down and forced to wear a mask because the government convinced you to be terrified so rather than be proven wrong and look like a complete idiot you'll demand everyone else conform.
The funniest thing about Covid is how all these politicians, especially the Democrat governors, put so much fear in people about the virus, they'd lie and exaggerate, put in some of the most restrictive, nonsensical guidelines that regular citizens had to follow, and it worked on a lot of people, it terrified them, because many people, like you, are weak. But then you see these same doomsday hysteric governors constantly caught ignoring their own guidelines, violating their rules, whether it be meeting in large spaces, not wearing masks, going to restaurants they closed. These politicians openly showed everyone they themselves weren't scared of the virus enough to even follow their own guidelines, because they knew the guidelines were useless and they knew Covid was exaggerated. Yet, after seeing this happen over and over for 2 years, leftists STILL would listen to them when they were told to be terrified. Covid exposed a lot of people for how weak and helpless they truly are.

You say that now, but you and I both know that isn't true. Covid was very clearly 95% political, and leftists do nothing for any other reason than political reasons, and when it's again politically advantageous to shut down the country indefinitely and put the boot on the throats of the people, you'll be one of the first people on board and demand everyone else comply. You can hide behind your stupid "Nah, dats OK with me if Republicans want to die, hehe" but we know that's a lie, as it's been proven the lockdowns and masks did nothing to stop or slow Covid.
