I really hate smartphones and what they've done to society and the internet. I don't want a digital spying device in my pocket. I've also always hated making phone calls, period. In addition, I have no real need for a phone anyways - not even a dumbphone. If someone wants to talk to me, they can always shoot me an email. Or I can talk to them through something like Google Meet. Anything that a phone can do can just as easily (and much more effectively) be done with a laptop. -
