Or were you wrong when this trend was making its rounds?

The pic in the OP has been AI'd or photo-shopped to the incorrect (wrong) colors of gold and white on purpose. Probably done by someone who saw it as gold and white and got pissed when he/she/it was proven wrong, that it is blue and black.

Something must have happened to my eyes since the original. At first I saw it as blue and black, which it is. Now in the OP I see it as gold and white, even though it's blue and black. Are you sure that's not photo-shopped?

I know you have an eye for photography. I've always been into drawing. I wonder if that visual awareness has any impact on whether you see the correct or incorrect color.
Yeah, it still fascinates me, along with other sinilar phenomena, like the Mandela Effect.

Oh, I don't think anything actually changed in reality regarding the Mandela Effect, but I find it fascinating that there's this mass collective misremembering.
I know there were a couple where I knew exactly where the confusion came from, like Berenstain Bears. A lot of us probably remember it as Berenstein because there was a VHS tape of the animation with it spelled like that.

I saw gold and white…but I gotta say that on my phone the white dies have a mold blue tint. I thought the reason for the confusion was an astigmatism…but now I wonder if it was the devices we viewed it with.
