Thanks for reassuring that St. Louis won’t be warming up earlier than average in 2024 with the long range forecast, Weather channel. I was hoping for us to at least be dark blue..

For us, it's been about average to cooler than average. We always have inconsistent weather in the winter. Ever since I was a kid, we'll be freezing one day and have the heater going, and then the next day, kinda warm and humid for winter and need to kick the AC on a bit. Doesn't get super hot in winter, but like 70's.

We get all four seasons here, though not to the same extent as what they experience up north. Summers here are hot and very oppressive, with winters typically being frigid with lots of storms, and some snowfall. So far, this hasn’t felt like winter.

We haven’t been getting much snow here either. At least southern Iowa was given a snow blanket, giving us some opportunity for snow sports if Missourians are up for the drive.

And they were hyping this super El Niño to be the pattern that ends droughts across the country. If anything, it feels like the El Niño could deliver more extreme heat waves across the globe!
