You're taking that from this Wikipedia article that does indeed state they sold over 100 million records:

But it's wrong. It's some drunk Oasis fanboy making up numbers. Click the source next to the claim and it doesn't say anywhere in the article that Oasis sold 100 million records. It says:
To date, the band have sold more than 70 million albums worldwide.

Less actually. I was being generous with the 70 million figure because I feel bad for them, but it's really much lower:
According to Sony Music Japan, OASIS sold over 40,000,000 albums worldwide, including 6,000,000 in the United States and 16,460,000 in the United Kingdom.
