Now technology has largely removed the biological problems, men and women share most of the work and responsibility. Biology still plays a small part, and that's why the man usually does the heavy lifting, mechanical repairs, and things that require power tools or weapons. The past isn't a model, but it is the root cause and each time we look at an issue it usually explains why AT THE TIME that was the best option our ancestors had. Empires were necessary to either secure subjugated, neutralized enemy land, or to stop enemies taking strategically important regions and getting the upperhand.
Even now, people are building empires. China, Russia, Iran, and everyone else is having a go. What do you think the EU is? What do you think globalism is, if not the conquest of the whole world, to be ruled by an elite that knows best?
Thinking empire building isn't a necessity of civilization is sentimental and retarded all at the same time.

That's not what was said.
Nobody disputes the legacy of slavery. We had Affirmative Action and Welfare to address that, and seem to constantly look at ways to further redress the balance. My point was the hate whitey gets for committing a crime every race committed harder and for longer, with some (Muslims and Chinese) still doing so. We're the only race trying to make amends, even if we haven't fully succeeded.
What more do people want?
