    Even if it happened when you were teens?

      Ask
      @Lara Croft
      His sister once stole money from him. Perhaps he can tell you how he handled it.
      You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

        I'm thinking more about a relative not in the immediate family. It wouldn't surprise me if siblings take things.

          I see.
          I could never trust a person who took something from me. The relationship would never be the same.
          Would I cut them out of my life? That would depend on what they had stolen, and what it meant to me. Even if I didn't report them to the police, or cut them entirely out of my life, I'd pretty much limit my contact with that person to necessary family holiday gatherings, weddings, and funerals.

            Depends on what it is. Food wouldn't bother me. Something minor wouldn't bother me, but one of my brothers, the one who reminds me of Hungry, stole anxiety meds. Selfish druggie asshole. I'd feel more compassion about his addiction problems if he actually gave a **** about anyone else.

              I wouldn't be pleased but I would talk to them and try to stear them in a better direction so they don't end up in prison some day.
