May is an outlier. For the year they are about even. For the past 6 months Microsoft is winning. Xbox sales are growing, PS5 sales are declining. The Xbox is gaining ground and will surpass the PS5 soon. Very soon. It's only a matter of time.

Interesting how just 10 years ago Xbox was seen as inferior and wasn't touched by most gamers in Japan.
It's actually nice to see it's made a recent splash.
I like both and many homes have both of their latest consoles, at least from what I've seen.
In the meantime XBOX🇺🇲FTW🇺🇲 I guess.
In TVs South Korea has definitely hit Japan hard. It used to be everyone wanted a Sony product. Then it seemed Samsung/LG kinda took over.
Then Samsung killed LG in the cell phone game.

I stay in a Best Buy warehouse so I have all the consoles I could ever want.
All I have is an old XBOX 360 Elite and an ancient PS1 I've had for ever.
I'll probably get a newer console later on. Not really a hard core gamer.
