I must have confused them with alligators. That makes me feel a little better about visiting Florida. Crocodiles scare me but I think alligators are cute.

You should be a little scared of gators. Like rationally scared. Don't go in places that have them without being careful. They're easy to outrun but they strike quick.

Do you mean alligator? In creole cuisines across Louisiana, deep fried alligator is a commonly served dish, and it tastes a lot like chicken. I highly recommend it.

Fried is okay, but kinda makes it taste like any other fried food. Roasted or alligatir sauce piquante is better.
Probably be good in a gumbo.

Fried alligator taste good. It kind of tastes like calamari and the texture is similar to fish.
