American Museum of Natural History
ah, what great memories i have of this, a true Wonder of our modern age.
as a child living in Manhattan, my parents and I would make the trek up to 77th street and spend an
entire day
lost in the magic and mysticism of the History before us. what an enchanting place.
now, i'm afraid to go to it for fear of ghetting assaulted intellectually by a museum dedicated to agenda setting instead of presentation for its sake and ability to stimulate minds, both young and old.

: i see on the website that it's open from 1030-1730 AND "timed entry" tickets control your eintrag!! what have these lunatics done to one of the greatest buildings/institutions on earth? the very fun has been evacuated from the experience. -

What you describe makes me very sad.
Apparently I missed a good time at the museum in NY…never had been there.
And then I remember great museums in DC, wonderful and informative exhibitions.
Free entry!
That was already different here.
Museum visits are expensive, even with a family discount for the little ones.
Nope, no check of DC's websites now for me.
Enough frustration for today. -
