How can you tell the difference between a swollen lymph node, cyst or abscess?

Were you having pain in a back tooth before?
It sounds like an abscess.
swish some hydrogen peroxide around in your mouth without swallowing for about 5 minutes, spilt it out and try to add pressure to the area where the abscess is to get it popped like a zit.
Continue to rinse with peroxide.
You can also try it with hot/warm saltwater if you don't have any peroxide on hand.
Or use baking soda.
Don't ignore it, or it'll get much worse and you might die…so I'd check for a dentist as quickly as possible if I were you.
Once you get it popped, the swelling should start to go down, but it won't resolve what's causing the abscess.
You most likely need a tooth pulled or filled depending on how bad it's gotten.
The peroxide will help the abscess but it'll come right back if you don't get the tooth treated.
No matter what it is, you most likely need an antibiotic to kill the infection.
Are you okay?
