Dane didn't pretend to be Klam. Hep just assumed it was Klam because he thought she would be the only one who could possibly know the name of the street and for some reason he found it plausible that she might want to dox him.

"Look up" how, exactly? To anyone else that would be a google search.
In some countries you can google a person's phone number and everything about them will be on a website with their car model, home address, date of birth, place of work, their salary, etc. You don't even need said person's phone number with some places. A name will get you the information you want.
Please enlighten the group how you managed to do this with a british citizen. -

Anyone can go to the store and pick up a sim card with no registered address to it. Then what?
If you're talking about illegal activity to obtain hep's address using his mobile number I have no response to that as I have never been desperate enough to do something like that. -

Dane posted a selfie here years ago, and when saved, the phone knew the location the picture was taken. It went right to his flat.
So if you take a photo with location services on, it'll still be there when posted here. Haha.
