I really do not think so. From everything I have seen, these 'perfect' families often have the worst relationships. We are all very close but have our struggles. I think one way to look at it is, you do not argue with people you do not care about because they really do not matter to you. Arguments help figure out issues and problems. Of you do not give a ****, why even bother to do it, ya know?
