Over the course of the last week I've order several items from Amazon. They promise delivery by 10:00 PM the next day. Not one of these items has arrived at the time they promised. In most cases they've arrive three or four days after orders put in by 10:00 AM. Sloppy sloppy sloppy. These are not items from a seller who goes through Amazon, but items that Amazon has in their warehouses.

I looked on twitter and other people are complaining about late prime deliveries. I don't know if it is more or less than usual but I am taking this as a leading indicator. I forecast a shallow recession to start in the third quarter of this year.
