Because he was trash at spending, the worst part of his presidency, granted Democrats kept threatening to shut down the government if Trump didn't sign all their spending bills, but ultimately he signed them. But to pretend Biden lowered anything is incredibly stupid, what your graph shows fails to mention Covid, averaged out Biden was absolutely horrible on the deficit. Thing is Democrats know their supporters are so stupid that they'll belive any spin they give them.

I love how Biden supporters pretend like his policies brought the economy back.
No.
The pandemic shut it down and we spent massive amounts of money to keep several industries afloat. The reduced deficit.
And millions of jobs were lost. Those are the millions that came back as the pandemic receded. It was nothing Biden did.
More Americans died from covid under Biden than under Trump. That was with three vaccines, too. And with more knowledge about the China virus.
That doesn't excuse Trump's spending but let's not pretend the idiot Biden really wanted to cut spending.
All he cares about is spending and taxing and taxing and spending. -

What an excellent comment. Very new and original, haven't heard it before and it completely added to the OP. Well done, you're a valuable member of this board and definitely not a complete retard.

Because republicans are massive spenders who aren't actually interested in balancing the budget but instead giving out money to their big business friends while using the deficits they create to argue they need to cut programs that benefit average Americans like medicare and social security.
