Bullshit. I'm in literal tears at the thought of the next heatwave coming. I only pray it's on a weekend so I don't have to go outside. It's ok saying get ac but what's that gonna do when you have to go out

Between getting a sunstroke and bury yourself in the cellar there's some space. -

We don't have cellars but I'd spend the whole summer in one if we did
Please, don't.
It's good for the mind to get a fresh breeze around the nose.
Well, while it's still spring time we already had temperatures of late summer.

Last summer I wanted to marry a polar bear and emigrate to Alaska.

Bury me in the snow and I'll be the happiest person alive
We may talk about it again in August.

Mental health is overrated, tho. There's nothing wrong with a little dysfunction once in awhile as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.
But yes, sunshine is uplifting. I understand your dread, but you can go out for a bit…. maybe a 20 minute walk making weird sounds at the squirrels and birds, then back home for a cool shower and your therapy session is done for the day.
Meanwhile, your neighbors can whisper rumors about your sanity while they worry not about their own.
tl;dr Just do it in brief, fun stints. -

That's one of the things that holds you back. You should watch
Akeelah and the Bee,
and pay special attention to what Lawrence Fishburne says about the language.
