its true that former prez have transferred formerly classified info but now declassified to their private offices/think tanks. OR in other instances, these former prez-but excluding trump- had ridiculously low-level classified material.
trump is different. he intentionally removed and then coverd-up the fact that he had removed the
absolutely highest level**
of classified marking. and he continued to lie about it and i bet your left nipple that a true and thorough search of ALL of his properties would turn up even more.
this is a series of issues involving national security SECRETS and not some rank attack on Trump because he is a POSEXPOTUS. current republican leadership is now clearly complicit in Trump's crimes by cheerleading for him.

the irony is that Trump could never obtain a government security clearance even at the lowest level, by virtue of his business dealings, his obvious enthrallment to Putin, and the fact that he is a categorical liar.
to hold a clearance which the documents were marked as having that level of access, one needs a complete background check, a records check, a tax compliance check, and a polygraph exam. Trump would have had to provide his whereabouts and account for his movements from his earliest recollections. I dont think he could do so without major unexplainable gaps in his travels.
and no way could he get through an FBI/CIA polygraph.
I had this level and I was in my 20s and still was amazed at how many details given by me truthfully were later not completely accurate, since the memory isnt perfect. but Trump is by nature a liar and cheat so his responses to written questions and verbal would be laughably unacceptable.
