Protests in Mississippi after police shoot and injure 11-year-old Aderrien Murry
[video]
Scheiße
Well, since Wednesday I try to go into the
"**** happens"
modus.
Wednesday firefighters found the second dead body of the drowned young men (both 21).
They drowned after a too long party…in a lake close to Berlin.
Will keep on to reach that
"scheißegal"
modus.
Until then, a good day for you!

Don't be surprised if the police body cam shows the boy did NOT have his hands up like the family says and he was making sudden movements that made the police think he was about to shoot them.
"Hands up! Don't shoot!" was the popular protest chant (LIE) after the August 2014 shooting of Michael Brown by police officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri. Witnesses on the scene said Brown did not have his hands up and had been striking the officer in the face in the police car and trying to take his weapon.

Schrodinger's catfood — 2 years ago(May 26, 2023 07:53 AM)Why did the Justice Department conclude that 'Hands Up, Don't Shoot' was a myth?

Why did the Justice Department conclude that Michael Brown didn’t cry out “Don’t shoot” and that, if he had his hands up, it was only for a moment before he began moving back toward Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson?
Those previous widespread beliefs about what happened when Wilson killed Brown on Canfield Drive helped spark national protest. In light of the Justice Department's recent reports, those beliefs are being re-evaluated. The New York Times public editor, for instance, has joined those who recognize the problem with the original “hands up-don’t shoot” narrative.
It’s easy to see how protesters adopted – and the media repeated – the “hands up” mantra. The majority of eyewitnesses - 22 - told authorities that Brown’s hands were up when he was killed.
But DOJ investigators found the accounts of all 22 witnesses to be unreliable because other parts of those witnesses’ stories conflicted with physical or forensic evidence or with the accounts of credible witnesses.
Many of these witnesses denied incontrovertible evidence that Brown reached into the police car, struck Wilson in the face, was wounded by a gunshot inside the car, fled 180 feet, suffered no wounds in the back and then moved back at Wilson immediately before the fatal shots.
In many instances, the discounted witnesses repeated what they had heard from neighbors or on the news.
Some witnesses admitted they made up stories so they could be part of a big event in their community
.
Brown’s companion, Dorian Johnson, and friends quickly spread the word that Wilson had killed Brown execution style. An iPad recording and videos that captured conversations among the gathering crowd document the development of the
false narrative

Thanks for that additional info!

It's not that I easily believe all what the MSM (mainstream media) reports.
And yes,
self-appointed eyewitnesses
are the worst. ☻
But true too, often I don't dig deep enough into a
'story'
.
Because of the OP and the discussion here will keep a closer eye on this case.
Thanks again (seriously)!
And against all odds…Happy Weekend!

Before all the details of this incident are in I will go ahead and claim this is a white racist cop from a systemically racist white supremacist ultra MAGA police department who only wanted to kill an innocent wonderful beautiful intelligent Black savior. I suggest we demand reparations, loot the local Target, burn down a few buildings and then call it peaceful protesting.
And, of course, the beautiful and loving family should be compensated. At least $450 million should help to repair their emotional distress. -

Bad news, Lara. The cop who shot him is black. But I hear he was brainwashed by white supremacist ultra right wing MAGA Trump supporters.
So he was a victim, too.
The city of Indianola is very wealthy and last year enjoyed a surplus of over $590 million.
Fortunately, the family of this young adorable intelligent giving young boy, will be willing to accept $590 million as compensation for this incredibly horrible ordeal.
But the cop should be compensated, too. Not $590 million, of course. He wasn't shot. But I would say around $50 million will make him feel a little better.
