Without Question!
I think that when Donald Trump's Presidential Campaign (the first one) began and he (in that Press Conference when he first announced that he was running for President) began opening his mouth and started saying all of those toxic, insulting, and disrespectful things that we would normally never hear come out of the mouth of a MAJOR Politician (on either side of the aisle) that that is when the negativity here in the United States started to go in the direction of the EPIC level that it currently is today.
Now his supporters (the ones that like to behave like sore losers and who think that Trump is perfect) will obviously without question blame it all completely on the Media, Hillary Clinton's 2016 Presidential Campaign, her 2016 supporters and voters, Democrats behavior over the 4 years that Trump was President, Joe Biden's 2020 Presidential Campaign, his 2020 supporters and voters, and everything that Biden has done as President so far but it isn't because of that (except the part about the Media, I do agree that some of the blame definitely should go on them but definitely not all of it).
I honestly think that the negativity that exists today here in the U.S. first started because of Donald Trump and it isn't stopping now because of Trump and also most definitely because of the Media and because of both sides of the aisle (without question). -

Um,
For me Bush area was a lot worst,
There was a lot of inside terrorists on his watch,
And a lot of ugly protests in Nixon and other administration.
Clinton, and maybe Obama had a good era!
Without strife, your victory has no meaning.
Without strife, you do not advance.
Without strife, there is only stagnation.
