Their problem was a badly timed investment in bonds and overreliance on startups as customers so it shouldn't threaten the entire banking industry. But who really knows.

Roku announced that they have about half a billion dollars stuck at that bank, a quarter of their cash reserves. Is my Roku tv going to stop working in the near future?
Another bank was shuttered, another bank is teetering, the government guaranteed the deposits of SVB customers, the Fed is promising money to faltering banks. They got spooked it would happen again.
