Jimmy Carter was diagnosed with cancer at 90 that had spread all over his body, including his brain. 4 months later it was completely gone. A 90 year old beat cancer of the entire body in a few months. Lol, I'm not making this up.
On August 3, 2015, Carter underwent an elective surgery to remove a small mass on his liver, and his prognosis for a full recovery was initially said to be excellent. On August 12, however, he announced he had been diagnosed with cancer that had metastasized, without specifying where the cancer had originated.[432] On August 20, Carter disclosed that melanoma had been found in his brain and liver, and that he had begun treatment with the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab and was about to start radiation therapy. His healthcare was managed by Emory Healthcare of Atlanta. He has an extensive family history of cancer, including both of his parents and all three of his siblings.[433] On December 6, 2015, he issued a statement, announcing that his medical scans no longer showed any cancer.

There has likely been a cure for those sorts of things for a while now. The people who discovered them were probably paid ungodly amounts of money to kill the research once all the bugs were worked out and it is only available to a select few rich and powerful.
I'm not against capitalism, it promotes competition which spurs innovation and motivation, but I think that like in sports with a salary cap, there should be some sort of wealth cap. Say 10 million dollars or something. The rest could go towards actually easing suffering and working towards finding actual solutions to society's ills. No one person needs to have such insane amounts of money and 1% of a population should not control 90% of the wealth or whatever the statistics are. -

They don't use the same healthcare system as everybody else. They have concierge medicine only available to the superrich. They get regular check-ups from better doctors and detect any cancer in the early stages.
