We in France, love the americans. We are always heard that the americans hating the frenchs and we do not understand why but a lot are mocked in the internet. I think because may be miscommunications ?
We always cheered in school when we showed the films of the americans coming to France, Libération in the past, the war etc. The frenchs always loved americans. -

I follow an orchestra online from the border of Germany and France, and I think there is a French violinist (female) in it. It is nice to see her, there, reminds me of home, where I lived by/in New Orleans as a teenager and in college in music.
It is rare to find good violin playing, so I wonder where it is. You know, the French like Germans, and maybe in Northwestern Germany it gets "good." Just a guess.

Actually I heard the opposite that the French don't like Americans.
I've never been but my ex-girlfriend's family is in Lyon and we were supposed to go a few years ago. I'd like to visit.

To offer a response to the personne above you, no, it is common error: the frenchs love the americans. You always have the opinions opposed, like anywhere but I think the majority of the frenchs are thinking we are not well liked in America. I do not know.
