I'm talking about mixed heritage. White Mexicans are White cuz they have a mix of European blood due to Mexico being invaded by Spaniards, French and even Germans. Why should they deny their European heritage?

I agree it's incorrect. Mexico is in North American, not Latin America. The general term would be North Americanos or Mexicans. There are some people in Mexico who are from Latin America though. It's all mixed. But there aren't just Black or White people. There are also Brown people if you're going only by color. George Lopez is Brown. But there are Mexicans who are White.
