I'm so very sorry. It hurts so much because they are always there for you. It leaves such a void when they are gone. Just know that you and your pet gave each other lots of happiness and love, not to mention a good life. That's the nicest gift of all.

I mostly dread losing my dogs and my cat. The dogs in particular, my life revolves around them and we are pretty much together 24/7 so I don't know how I will be able to cope with losing them

Sure do. So rather than drag things out over years and decades I rounded them all up and put them down all at once. Just rip the bandage off you know? Sure it hurts but its all at once and them it goes away and is no longer an issue.
