Could be that in 1950 the were only 50 million firearms in the US compared to almost 400 million today. Factor in the proliferation of concealed carry permits and stir in a general discontentment of the society as a whole and there you go

Well one of your arguments there was that the increase in concealed carry permits is one of the reasons for increased mass shootings, I don't think the data supports that claim. But yeah, I'm sure someone who decides they want to go out and kill people are going to first make sure they be responsible and go through the legal process of getting their permit, lol! Point being…lots of folks runnin' around with lots of guns could contribute to **** loads of folks runnin' around shootin' the **** outta each other. There are so many factors that sparked an increase.
- Mass shootings are being reported constantly which influences other people to be the next Internet an-hero.
- News disseminates to more people via social media and Internet.
- Less reliance on the family unit. The single mass shooters today would have been husbands to women by age in the 50s, and their wives would have smacked sense in them.
- the increase in women's rights such as equal pay and overall general independence leads to more isolated men. Women are less obedient to the desires of men. Men picking a woman to have sex with was an honour to that woman in the 60s, and not it's considered inapropriate if she doesn't consent. Women are no longer dependent on men for income and security anymore, which leads to more single men despite women outnumbering men, thus mass shootings.
- Tik Tok, Twitter, 4chan subgroups. Social media allows people to discuss guns with others around the country vs. their wives at home and friends at the pub in the 50s.
- The internet killed marriage for company, combined with female independence leads to more lonely mentally disturbed men with a broader reach.
- Guns more accessible.
- Women now have iCloud and Google Photos gallery full of nudes. This is no longer for their husbands but for everyone on the Internet. In the old days, you didn't have to worry about not seeing women's nudes, or the cam show. There was no Internet to send them through. They showed their husbands and that's it. If they showed someone else, it was in person in a small town and you weren't connected to it via airwaves. Men weren't as confused sexually, nor were their cucks, which is a 2000+ creation. They only had their wives/girlfriends to concern themselves with.

Wow, I never thought I would hear someone conflate women having more rights to the increase in mass shootings. This really is a bizarre world.
