Well what if someone is genetically half black but looks 100% European? Everyone that looks at them just automatically assumes they are white. Are they not white even if everyone thinks they are and consequently they reap some benefit from it?

Lol I don't really care. Society is constantly changing what they consider white. White is pretty much defined by just who is "non white." So, I'm really just asking what people think whiteness is today.
