That's insane, LOL! How come I've never heard of it?!
Though the brand probably has nitrates /-ites so I couldn't eat it is my guess. I buy no sugar, uncured pork bacon. I was in heaven this am: found packages with tons of white. I get mad when someone else shops and they bring me extra lean. UGH! I mean, I'm not gonna send demons after the shopper but… close! Tantrum! I can't eat that sh

Lean, although it's not my favorite breakfast meat.
Crispy, but a tad chewy.
I don't like when it disintegrates in my mouth like dust.
A Saturday night special is an EVERYDAY special.

I like it chewy as well, though for crispy, it's best lean, I reckon. Chewy with most of the fat melted in my plate so I can slurp it down!
