They were playing their Mexican banda music too damn loud at midnight. I'm trying to go to sleep. Do you ever call the cops on your neighbors? That's the first time I have.

You know what's worse than noisy neighbours? People who complain about noisy neighbours.
It reminds me of this old lady who lived below me, who used to hit the ceiling with a broom every time my roommate played with her dog.
People who live elsewhere are not dependent to enjoy their lives working around

sleep schedule. This isn't prison.
People should be free to play music at midnight as they wish, without the fear that the sound will be heard by those outside their own walls.
It's one of the reasons I'll never get an apartment/condo again, especially where a unit is below me. I'd have to be ground level, because there should be concrete underneath my carpet, not someone's ceiling. And even that I won't do.
What if someone was a drummer in a band and had to practice? They're not allowed to ever play drums because someone's below them or on the other side of the drywall? That's a ****ty living arrangement.
And aren't gay people supposed to be fun and play Mexican banda music at midnight

A few years ago our neighbors, who owned the restaurant next door, were beating up some poor guy and it sounded real bad. We called the cops and they turned up, followed by an ambulance. I hope we made the phone call in time.

Southern Louisiana isn't all hillbilly. Maybe the northern part which we call southern Arkansas. It's a mixed bag here. I don't live anywhere really cool or urban, but it's a nice college town with a decent music and art scene.

In one part of town, yeah lol. I live in downtown though. It's nothing special, but at least not ****in Arkansas lol. The appeal for me is that we're 45 mins away from both cities without having to live in the cities, dealing with all the bullshit.
Plus, we have or unfortunately had cool little places like this. All my favorite places seem to eventually close like GBCB and Sugacane's.

More actually, and we have more people going there than actually living there because we're surrounded by nothing. Same for people who commute to SLU.
Yeah, it's still small, but more in the town in a Stephen King novel way than the **** your sister way.
