It always has critics, bit distressed, ripped jeans never seem to go out of style. Maybe for a brief moment in the late 90's when Jncos were popular, and it was cooler to have frayed edges the bottom of your pants.
Plain white tee and straight leg jeans seem to always be inoffensive and blend in with any time. Same with collared shirts that fit and come in plain or basic designs.
Converse and other simple styled shoes never seem to go away.

ripped jeans are trash.
cons are eternal.
adults allowed to wear keds or pfs?
white adidas are classic. BUT in the aftermath of this loser kanye west's remarks and subsequent spotlight on NAZI heritage of addidas, i'm withdrawing my support -

Like I said, they always have their critics. Been cool since at least the 70's.
I had some low top versions of Benny from Sandlot's PF Flyers. I prefer them over Cons. Similar style without the foot pain. Some say Vans hurt their feet, but not mine. They've also been popular for decades. Though, again, the late 90's took a brief detour with puffy skate shoes. Vans moved away from the timeless styles like Era and Old School, and went with puffier styles as well. To be fair, those were better to skate in unless you need better board feel.
But yeah, you can wear that **** as an adult. You can wear anything, but Keds seem more associated with girls now.
If we're gonna boycott companies for bad ethics, you might as well go live off the grid. It's capitalism.
