Must treat it LIKE a religion for the sake of the 1st Amendment. Doesn't mean it IS a religion. Shit, even if the law said it was, it doesn't mean it is.

It would be a head scratcher if it was anyone with a few IQ points as opposed to Scum Venom who has a negative number of IQ points.

first amendment is ridic simple: it 100% forecloses congress from any interference in any and all things religious. why should this bother "atheists", and the concept of atheism? since congress can not compel any form of worship, no atheist can be coerced into worshipping something/one not personally accepted by the person.
atheism doesnt have any "spiritual" leader(s) or rites or practices, so how can you say it's a "religion"? what is atheism's canonical text? is negating a belief the same as asserting its very denial, which then becomes a "religion"? i think this is what religious types advance: by simply affirming status as an atheist that action is equivalent to a religious affiliation: catholic, jewish, etc. i disagree.
i'm an atheist because I reject any revealed religion. but i'm open to accepting the norse/greek/roman gods, simply because those deities better represent the hell on earth which humans suffer through. so i guess i'm a Pagantheist.
