I'm a very hands on person so keeping my nails long annoy my fingers and they are always chipping at the edges.

Honestly, long nails aren't that "pretty". Especially if you colour them. Just makes you look like a prostitute or someone who cares so much about fashion that they come around full circle and end up looking ugly.
Girls with shorter/normal fingernails or maybe just slightly longer than what you'd see on most guys are much more attractive (assuming they don't have the body of a walrus and the hygiene of a wild boar).

By getting a lot of brown chunks under their nails, or just having an overall uncomfortable time with it.
This is yet another reason why they shouldn't have long nails.

Plus, one gets fungal infections under the nail beds. Long nails are nasty and they harbour bacteria. There's that and it comes across as too high maintenance of a person who's afraid to get their hands dirty.

I don't like mine too long when I do them. My natural nails are stubs lol because they are thin and just break off.

My nails grow nice but they get to a certain length and I judt randomly rip them off. I have no explanation as to why other than that I find it satisfying.
