Israel's military announced the death of a key commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
Major General Ali Shadmani was killed in an airstrike on Tuesday night.
There was no immediate confirmation from Iran.

Shadmani succeeded Gholam-Ali Rashid, who was killed in an Israeli attack on Friday at the start of the war. They were commanders of the central headquarters, Khatam al-Anbiyah. The headquarters belong to the powerful Revolutionary Guard and is a subdivision of the General Staff, responsible for planning and coordinating operations of various military units.
Around 20 generals were now killed in Israeli airstrikes in Tehran.
According to media reports, some commanders were also killed in their homes in the metropolis.

Breuning has ambivalent views on the current situation. On the one hand, she now must run to the air raid shelter more often, but on the other hand, she understands the attacks on Iran – a country that, with the terrorist militias Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis, finances several of Israel's enemies.
"I see the logical connection in that. Iran has ideologically and financially supported these terrorist organizations. And I see that there are probably good reasons to attack Iran. At the same time, one must of course also question whether it is good for a population to further escalate a war."
Weinberg, too, doesn't yet see the current situation as an existential threat, he says:
"I've experienced so many wars, so many rocket attacks in the last 20 years. I'm someone who believes in statistics. The probability that a rocket will hit me or my house is very, very small."
Weinberg says,

I'm not denying that rhetoric exists or supporting it, but at the end of the day, it's ONLY rhetoric and it's only words coming from a radical minority in Iran. As for nukes, Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence, and the IAEA have already said Iran
isn't building nuclear weapons
; Iran's only "nuke ambitions" are for peaceful purposes and medical research. I'll take their words over the lies and propaganda of Trump or Netanyahu or the Fox and Daily Wire talking heads any day. Keep in mind, Israel actually HAS nuclear weapons (200-300 of them) and it's currently committing a genocide in Gaza (according to the ICC, UN, South Africa, Ireland, etc.) - that's a LITTLE WORSE than chanting "Death to Israel", eh? - but you and the other MAGA clowns on this board are mum about THAT. do we know why on oct 7 - DESPITE warnings from egypt, and permiter activtiy that israeli soldiers noticed night before - there was lax/no security?? if i knew hamas/my enemy was on the other side.. i wouldnt leave border unattended?
For reference during right to return march - the border was highly protected and they shot medics, journalists.. literally anyone.. -
