After another Russian drone attack on Kharkiv that left at least three dead and more than 60 injured, Ukrainian President Zelensky is calling on the international community to take immediate action and new measures against Russia.

Ukraine reports One Million Russian Soldiers eliminated
Around the turn of the year, the Ukrainian army (under enormous pressure) sometimes reported over 2,000 Russian soldiers killed daily. Now, the figure is usually around half of that.
The total since the start of the war now exceeded the million mark.
Russian invaders carry a stretcher with a dead soldier in the occupied Ukrainian city of Mariupol.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces reported 1,140 soldiers killed in its daily update on the estimated losses of the Russian side. This brings the number to just over one million since the start in February 2022 of the Russian war of aggression.
"1,000,000 occupiers eliminated. It's not a number that matters, but a symbol, a proof of the indomitable Ukrainian spirit,"

The daily figures reported by Ukraine include dead and wounded soldiers. Just as the reported losses of eliminated tanks and other vehicles likely include irretrievably destroyed or damaged military equipment.
The figures from Kyiv cannot be independently verified, but info from Western partners repeatedly come close to them. At the beginning of May, British intelligence estimated that there were
probably
950,000 Russian fighters killed or wounded — exactly the figure Ukraine reported at the time.

Surveillance drone footage and a cell phone video allegedly show a Russian Su-25 crashing into a field near Soledar and exploding. Immediately beforehand, the escort aircraft fired missiles. Apparently, its own wingman brought the fighter jet down.

I need to admit, this

Kaliningrad is a Russian enclave in Poland, known until 1945 as Königsberg, East Prussia.
Our father came from there. He was 17 years old when he participated in the outbreak from Königsberg and was a lucky pig to have survived. They had to fight a way to the Pillau-harbour to flee, especially the many civilians in former Königsberg. What happened to civilians who didn't flee or weren't able to flee he saw in Metgethen.
Of his class of more than 30 students, only three made it, including him.
Unlike our mother, whose worst wartime experience was not having any cream on her birthday cake, our father always told us not to hate. While our mother was an advocate of
"Only a dead communist aka Russian is a good communist!"
That's long ago and Königsberg was anyhow more or less burnt down back then.
Means, yah, burn it down again!

Boeing Office in Kyiv severely damaged in Russian attack +++
In one of the most severe Russian airstrikes on Ukraine to date, a building belonging to the US aircraft manufacturer Boeing in Kyiv was apparently hit. As the Financial Times reported today, citing six people familiar with the incident, the building was heavily damaged overnight into Monday. Photos published by the Ukrainian Emergency Situations Agency show a burned-out office building and firefighters in action. According to reports, this was a targeted attack on the US company.
Boeing is one of the most important US companies with a presence in Ukraine
and works there (among others) with the aircraft manufacturer Antonov. According to Ukrainian sources, Russia used a total of 315 drones and several missiles in the major attack at the beginning of the week – in addition to Kyiv, Odessa and other cities were also affected.
Boeing did not directly confirm the attack but emphasized that all employees were unharmed.
