Good cast, tries hard, but… I'm not sure if all the stuff lifted from numerous films and computer games, and assorted streaming apps, is homage or just derivative. It's watchable - may one day be a good movie to get drunk in front of and play 'spot where that came from' - but it didn't justify a rainy trip to the cinema this morning.

It's already left my local cinemas (Send Help was released a week earlier but lingers on) and apparently has made $8M on a £20M budget - which is a pretty cheap film these days.
There was a lot of energetic and photogenic moments at the premier which leaves me wondering if the cast already anticipated it's reception and were trying to drum up a little extra business.
Ah well, so it goes - and I'm not terribly surprised.

This is one of the best films of the 2020s decade. Easily the best film of 2026 so far and it's going to be EXTREMELY difficult for a movie to top it.
You're from the future?Well that's brilliant!Do they still have sandwiches there?

I liked it! Sam Rockwell was worth watching as always and I loved the scathing hatred of our digital world alongside the imminent threat of AI takeover. I had fun!
