is a poor line for a leader who's just seen half his crew smashed to mincemeat as their chains dragged them over the cliff edge after the golden bell.
But it's that kind of film - fondly remembered from watching it as a kid but actually not that good.
I have always depended on the kindness of Strangers - and the bastards let me down!

I remember seeing this when I was little. It was on TV. I fell in love with Richard Widmark.

I remember liking the film as a kid but it's a bit creaky and over the top watching it now.
