Best Acting: History of the World
Best Writing: The Producers
Best Directing: Blazing Saddles
Not one of those movies stands above the rest beacuse of the fact that each of them are unique. For example, if you ever read the script to Blazing Saddles, you will most likely read some of the most racist stuff, but Mel Brooks is able to pull it off. -

Love Mel, love his whole directorial filmography, pretty much love each film individually too.
- Young Frankenstein - 10/10
- The Producers - 9/10
- Blazing Saddles - 9/10
- High Anxiety - 8/10
- Silent Movie - 8/10
- History of the World Part I - 8/10
- Dracula, Dead and Loving It (way underrated) - 8/10
- Spaceballs - 8/10
- To Be Or Not To Be - 8/10 (see below)
- The Twelve Chairs - 8/10
- Robin Hood: Men in Tights - 7.5/10
- Life Stinks - 7.5/10
And honestly, #s 4-12 could easily shuffle around though various combinations given the day. I include To Be Or Not To Be (since, y'know, Mel does during Spaceballs at least), even though he didn't direct it.
