The other ones were just a little too silly for me! But he wrote for so many shows - from Sid Caeser to "Get Smart." It is a true original as well as a class act.

Best Acting: History of the World
Best Writing: The Producers
Best Directing: Blazing Saddles
Not one of those movies stands above the rest beacuse of the fact that each of them are unique. For example, if you ever read the script to Blazing Saddles, you will most likely read some of the most racist stuff, but Mel Brooks is able to pull it off. -
